Pilot courses in Estonia “ICT skills”

Kuressaare Gymnasium organized pilot courses “Modern ICT skills for 50+ target group, who want to be self-employed” for seniors (50+). The lenght of the courses – 12 lessons. The objective of the course was to provide the entrepreneur with the modern and systematic skills for working with the computer.

The pilot training content was divided in subthemes: Management files, folders and cloud services, How to use and manage e-mail, Search engines and useful applications, E-goverment services for entrepreneur, use of an ID card, digital signature, Practical operations in text and spreadsheet programs for entrepreneurs, Social media and homepages for supporting business, Secure Internet usage, beware viruses.

Evaluation of the pilot courses was really good. Seniors group very appreciated the trainings.
