Project lead partner – Panevėžys business advisory centre hosted project kickoff meeting in Panevėžys (Lithuania) 29-30 August 2016. The partnership is new, so meeting activities aimed to know each other, find out common point of view and agree on effective communication ways for planned project activities implementation. Project partners presented the national situation of the people 50+ in the labour market, program and facilities for self-employment and opportunities for life-long learning training. Project partners agreed on the project milestones for the planned project activities implementation during the meeting.

Second project meeting in Ryga
Project partner from Latvia “Latconsul” organized second project meeting in Riga 28-29 March 2017. First day project partners presented the results of research of the unemployed people educational needs for the self-employment in each country. Partners discussed the current project situation, made few administrative changes to the schedule, agreed on training course content, discussed about other project issues. Next day all project partners participated in workshop “Mentoring for self-empowering” organized by “Latconsul” and finally decided on administrative changes to the schedule, deadlines, dissemination tools.

Third project meeting in Roskilde, Denmark
Project partner from Denmark “AOF-Øst” organized third project meeting in Roskilde 14-15 September 2017. This time project partners have gathered to present the results of training programmes preparation process and discuss about the conditions for pilot courses, evaluation issues. Partners discussed the current project situation, made few administrative changes to the schedule, agreed on training course content, discussed about other project issues. Next day all project partners participated in workshop Entrepreneurship and ICT skills for self-employment” with Data Larsen and finally decided on administrative changes to the schedule, deadlines, dissemination tools.

Pilot courses in Latvia “Self-empowerment”
Business consultancy and education centre Latconsul organized 3 day pilot courses in self-empowerment for seniors (50+). In these 3 days trainer Aija Lokengbaha were holding lectures about self-empowerment field. The pilot training content was divided in subthemes: Warming up, Self-presentation and self-evaluation, Self-believe and networking, Negotation and problem solving, Communication. Small group of participants was very satiesfied with trainings and wanted to dig in more in senior business. Latconsul agreed with all participants to arrange another meeting to hear how to use their skills in practice.

Pilot courses in Estonia “ICT skills”
Kuressaare Gymnasium organized pilot courses “Modern ICT skills for 50+ target group, who want to be self-employed” for seniors (50+). The lenght of the courses – 12 lessons. The objective of the course was to provide the entrepreneur with the modern and systematic skills for working with the computer.

Panevėžys business advisory centre organized pilot courses “Entrepreneurship” for seniors (50+). 2 days courses were aimed to get new competences and improve entrepreneurship skills for starting up new business of seniors.

Forth project meeting in Kuressaare, Saaremaa, Estonia
All project partners met for the last time in the project SAFE in 16-17 May 2018. This meeting was held to evaluate and summarize all project activities, including pilot trainings. Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia introduced their pilot courses results, Finland presented evaluation of all programme. Partners discussed the main reasons and measures which affected successful partnership and project results. Second day was dedicated to administrational isues, but the day started with interview about the project for Kuressaare press. After that partners got chance to get to know the Saaremaa island better.
